THE WORD 'eshi' 
The name eshi came about from my trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I noticed that the word ‘eshi’ was often used in conversation to show enthusiasm or agreement. Eshi means ‘yes’/ OK in Amharic, the main language of Ethiopia. It is such a beautiful language to listen to, and the women are so beautiful and dignified. Being an affirmative word, I decided ‘eshi’ would be a great name for my business.

THE eshi LOGO 
eshi’s logo features a female image whose inspiration derives from a 16th century painting that reminded me of an Abyssinian princess.  To me the ‘eshi woman’ represents self-assuredness, a certain sassiness and elegance.
